The antagonist is essentially just some dude who looks like he should feature on the next episode of вЂњHow to Catch a Predator.вЂќ He has no powers, no personality beyond being a creeper, and no real reason for doing what he does other than the classic video-game character archetype of The Asshole and the antagonist from the main game is relegated to the back seat, shouting out pro-violence messages as she tries to turn Fetch into a living weapon. Her brother has no time to develop a вЂpersonalityвЂ™ other than being some вЂњdude with a blue mohawkвЂќ. The issue is from the get-go is that Fetch isnвЂ™t a likable character. So it goes without saying, this DLC tries to play up FetchвЂ™s relationship with her brother as a significant plot point. Now, if you played the main game, you will have found out that Fetch is a recovering drug addict who accidentally killed her brother (woops!) when he tried to take her stash of drugs away. Throughout this DLC you have four characters: Fetch, her brother вЂ“ some guy with bad hair who is totally not evil вЂ“ and the warden (who is the main antagonist of the main campaign). The stand-alone DLC, First Light stars Abigail вЂњFetchвЂќ Walker: a neon conduit who you meet over the course of the main game during which she tells her story to the warden of Curdun Cay Prison. I suppose its my own fault then for expecting the stand-alone dlcВ to fill that void. However, it did leave me feeling unfulfilled. It had its faults, mostly due to a deadline to try and get the game out during the launch window, but it was an enjoyable experience nonetheless. First off, let me start by saying I enjoyed Second Son.
